Gary recently retired as a volunteer at the Salvation Army and Meals on Wheels. He also volunteered during voter registration and elections. Gary loved to travel with his best friend of 45 years, Bill Ellenberger. He was still active with MSU sports and was an usher in the student section at the MSU football games. He was a huge MSU fan!

Gary was the most thoughtful and kind person. He will be greatly missed by a sister, Nancy (Roger) Glamzi of Scottville; two brothers, his twin Larry Castonia of Dimondale and Ken (Sandy) Castonia of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews; his best friend, Bill Ellenberger of Onaway; and his furry feline family.
