Arthur Bruski

Arthur Bruski, 89, of Posen passed away October 21, 2018 at Medilodge in Rogers City.

He was born November 8, 1928 in Posen to Frank and Cecilia (Buza) Bruski. 

On February 28, 1949 he married Adele Woloszyk at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Mr. Bruski was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Posen Knights of Columbus, and was a Posen First Responder, a volunteer with the Posen Fire Department, and a trustee for the village of Posen for many years. Mr. Bruski was a dairy farmer for 50 years as well as working at the Besser Corporation for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Art is survived by seven children, Mark (Ann) of Posen, Peter (Connie) of Traverse City, Joseph of Alpena, Marie (Jim) Purol of Posen, James (Lucia) of Posen, Grace (David) Ciarkowski of Posen and Aaron (Robin) of Romania; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Regina Taratuta of Alpena and Blanche (Ervin) Mulka of Shelby Twp.; and a daughter-in-law, Cindy of Garden City. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adele; a son, Robert; a grandson, Greg; and siblings, Aloysius, Florian, Louis, Bernard, Anthony, Helen Gryniewicz, Alphonse, Casimir, Dorothy Kowalski, Alice Bruski and Frank Jr. 

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. where Sister Mary Michelz led the rosary and conducted

the parish wake service beginning at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume today (Thursday) at
St. Casimir Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11a.m. with the Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating. 

Interment will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Arthur Bruski to Hospice of Michigan or Orchard Manor AFC Home in Posen.
