Ethel H. Stricker

Ethel H. Stricker, 95, of Rogers City passed away May 22, 2018 at Medilodge of Rogers City. She was born September 7, 1922 in Belknap Township to Herman and Hermina (Steinke) Nagel. Ethel married Roy Stricker April 12, 1946 at St. Michael Lutheran Church.

Ethel cherished her family, especially her great-grandchildren who knew her as “GG.” Throughout her life she was always up for a card or board game, a conversation, or certainly a good laugh. Her laughs became smiles and the conversations one-sided, but her spirit never changed.

f Saline, Pamela Stricker of Clinton Township and Laurie Stricker of Ossineke; son, Timothy (Deborah Devine) Stricker of Lansing;
two grandchildren, Christopher (Athena) Pflug and Sarah (Matthew Bregger) Pflug;
and great-grandchildren, Christopher II, Daniel, Abigail, Edison and Graham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, in 2010; and three sisters, Remelda Crest, Doris Baugher and Thelma Saenz.

A memorial gathering will take place at the Beck Funeral Home Saturday, June 16 from 3 p.m. through time of her memorial service at 4 p.m. A time of fellowship will follow her service.
