Emma B. Tucker

Emma B. Tucker, 90, of Onaway, died at home Thursday, May 17, 2018. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada May 28, 1927 Emma was the daughter of Eloi and Delema (Prodomme) St. Germain. She married Dale C. Tucker “Jack,” September 2, 1944 and they made their home in Onaway except for the 23 years they lived in Saginaw.

With her gentle, loving spirit Emma made a warm and loving home for her family. She always put her family first and was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother. She nurtured her sons with care and wisdom and loved being involved in their lives.  And though she didn’t hunt, Emma was a big part of hunting season.  She was the communication hub, listening and relaying messages over the radio to her husband and sons as they hunted for bear, bobcats and deer. She loved every minute of it and looked forward to their stories when they returned home for one of her delicious home-cooked dinners. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and raising minks. Emma’s great love and devotion to her family will always be remembered.
