Lawrence R. Wendt, 74,  of Onaway passed away Tuesday March 20, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan hospital, Petoskey.

Surviving are two sons, Lorne (Billie) Wendt of Superior, Wisconsin and Neil (Carrie) Wendt of Lapeer; four grandchildren; a sister, Cheryle Roberts (Sherrie Wendt) of Onaway; two brothers, Darwin (Sherron) Wendt of Muskegon and Mark Wendt of the Upper Peninsula; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are in care of the Chagnon Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held in the summer.  Larry’s final resting place will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Onaway.
