The biggest tourism push for the county is enclosed in this edition of the Advance. The 2018 Presque Isle County Visitors’ and Resource Guide, covers activities and events along with several features on things to do.
Many locations of the county are covered in the glossy color publication including stories on activities in Onaway, Posen and Rogers City. A map points out areas of interest and color photos show some of the reasons why Presque Isle County is a great place to visit or live, where less is so much more.
A calendar of events, list of places of worship and a business directory are some of the other features of the guide, helping to bring visitors to the county.
The publication, now in its 12th year as the signature tourism publication of the county, is supported by businesses and organizations that see the obvious value of the guide.
“For the 12th year, we have sent copies of the guide to be displayed in many welcome centers operated by the Michigan Department of Transportation. We feel that is a great way to highlight our county,” said publisher Richard Lamb.
Copies of the guide are inserted into all issues of the Advance this week and extra copies are available at many locations in the county including advertisers who supported the guide.
