Althea Mae Kuchinski,
Althea Mae Kuchinski, 86, of Grand Lake left this world to be at peace with her heavenly Father Monday, April 16, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 14, 1932 in Rogers City to Harold and Velma (Paradise) Pollock.
She married the love of her life, Sylvester Kuchinski June 2, 1951. Together they raised a family of seven children who loved her dearly. Together Althea and Sylvester built a home on the shores of Grand Lake. Here Althea’s priorities were her husband and family. It is here that she leaves behind many happy memories that will forever be in our hearts. Althea always cared more for others than herself.

She is survived by her husband, Sylvester; daughters, Katharine McVeety of Alpena, Kristine (Jim) Penn of Jackson, Susan Byelich of Mio and Lori (Fred) Lewandowski of Rogers City; two sons, Robert of Rogers City and Joseph (Theresa) of Rogers City; a son-in-law, Joe Kaszubowski of Presque Isle.
Althea will be sadly missed by her children, 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her beloved daughter, Mary Jane Kaszubowski; and sons-in-law, John McVeety and John Byelich.
No services are planned at this time.
