Former Grand Ole Opry Musician to Perform in Millersburg

guitarsThe Douglas Family Bluegrass band from Alpena will be performing at the Millersburg Depot on August 26 at 7pm. Brothers Chris and Lloyd Douglas were former members of groups that were regulars on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Chris playing upright bass for Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Lloyd playing banjo for Jim and Jessie and the Virginia Boys. Both Chris and Lloyd had numerous appearances on the famous Grand Ole Opry stage.
Other members of the Douglas family are Chris and Lloyd’s Dad John, on guitar and Lloyd’s wife Laurie on guitar. Lloyd plays numerous instrument including 5-string banjo, fiddle, guitar and mandolin.
For a special treat to some high quality Bluegrass music come out to the Millersburg Depot 7pm on August 26th. Be prepared for some foot tapping lively music.
