Priscilla “Pat” Blue-Vitale

Priscilla “Pat” Blue-Vitale, 91, of Scott Township, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Born in Rogers City, Pat was the beloved daughter to the late Henry and Mattie Florip; cherished wife of Frank P. Vitale, and the late Robert E. Blue (1968); devoted mother of James (Kim McCleary) Blue, Patricia Blue (Desmond) Sugrue and Douglas Blue; dear sister to the late Rev. Phillip (Rosella) (Eunice) Florip and Henry “Buzz” (Betty) Florip; loving grandmother to Robert “Bobby” Blue, Katherine (Michael) Gudmundsen, Darinne Sugrue and Devynn Sugrue; great-grandmother to Jonathan Gudmundsen.

er stepsons Robert Blue, Stewart (Karen) Blue and their daughter Jamie (Josh) Guidry, Jerry (Jackie) Vitale, and Frank P. (Cathy) Vitale and their son Frank J. Vitale. She had 12 nieces and nephews, and numerous grand-nieces, grand-nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Pat was a skilled baker and seamstress and had a true passion for dancing-round dancing, square dancing and ballroom dancing. Pat especially loved dancing with her performing ballroom dance group, the Let’s Dancers, for many years. She was a devout Lutheran and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 60 years.

Family and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Memorial Chapel 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon Thursday, April 27, (today) evening 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1700 Bower Hill Road, Scott Township Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Lebanon Cemetery www.laughlinfuneralhome.com.
