Janet M. Haske

Janet M. Haske, 87, a resident of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and formerly of Rogers City, entered eternal life while surrounded by her children Friday, April 7, 2017, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

Janet was born August 29, 1929 in Manitowoc to the late Joseph and Marcella Walters Tadych. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1948. On December 30, 1950, Janet married Wallace J. Haske of Rogers City at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Survivors include Janet’s husband of 66 years, Wallace; five children, Jeanne Haske of Manitowoc, Paula Haske of Denmark, Wisconsin, James (Sharon) Haske of Rogers City, John (Virginia) Haske of Algoma, Wisconsin and Gerald (Linda) Haske of Coleman, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Judith Haske of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; three brothers, James (Judy) Tadych, Joseph Tadych and Thomas Tadych, all of Manitowoc; seven sisters, Shirley Reinke, Marion (Robert) Lindholm, Margaret (Malcolm) Shaw, Lorraine (Roger) Oswald, Nancy (Gary) Orth, all of Manitowoc, Germaine Hinze Miles of Appleton, Wisconsin and Ann Murray of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; also other relatives and friends.  Janet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; brother, John “Jack” Tadych; and grandson, Adam.

Funeral services for both Janet and her husband Wally were held Tuesday, April 11, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo – 1121 North 14^th St., Manitowoc, WI.  The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by the Rev. Dave Pleier with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum. Following the funeral service, a luncheon was held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center loc

A prayer service was led by Deacon Rich Bahnaman to conclude the visitation.  The visitation continued the following day Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
