Donald Lee Dehring
Donald Lee Dehring, 67, of Hawks passed away April 22, 2017 at home.
He was born August 7, 1949 in Rogers City to Julius and Violet (Marquardt) Dehring.
Don is survived by his wife, Brenda; four children, Aaron Dehring of Traverse City, Amanda (Troy) Peplinski of Hawks, Matthew (April) Dehring Traverse City and Adam (Margo) Dehring of Rogers City; five grandchildren; stepfather, Alan Claus of Lake Nettie; mother-in-law, Marion Brege of Hawks; sister-in-law, Ellen (Stanley) Solokis of Traverse City; and brother-in-law, John Brege of Hawks.
Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Tuesday, April 25, where the Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 607 offered a military tribute followed by a prayer service. Visitation resumed Wednesday at St. Michael Lutheran Church in Belknap through time of funeral with the Rev. Keith Schneider officiating. Burial took place at St. Michael Lutheran Cemetery.
