Scott Centala

Scott Centala, 63, of Hudsonville, passed peacefully with his family at his side into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, whom he married June 8, 1990 in Jenison; children, J.J. (Rodney) Lamrock, Jason (Nicki) Centala, Nancy (Adam) Grybauskas, Joshua (Jenni) Centala and Naomi Centala; his loving nine grandchildren Ethan, Ezra, Hezekiah, Isaiah, Braylon, Grace, Michael, Makenna and Ricardo “Ricky.”

Scott is also survived by his loving mother, Dolores “Dolly;” and seven brothers and sisters, Michael (Karen) Centala, Julie (Gary) Geno, Kirk (Sherry) Centala, Andrew (Jane) Centala, Roberta (Mark) Viegelahn, Kathy (Mike) Vroman and Robert (Niki) Centala; brother-in-law, Steve (Debbie) Smith; as well as too many nieces and nephews to name.

Scott was preceded in death by

his father, Robert James Centala.

Scott was a devoted nurse for more than 30 years. He loved the outdoors, photography/videography, was an artist, enjoyed riding his Harley and loved his grandchildren wholeheartedly. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation was held Friday, March 3, at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI.  A Celebration of Life service was held Saturday, March 4, at Resurrection Life Church – Rez Center, 5100 Ivanrest SW, Grandville.  The Rev. Tom Smith officiated.  Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens.
