Cardinal celebrating ‘Snowcoming’ this week

Onaway High School is set to celebrate its “Snowcoming” with festivities all week.
The crowning of the king and queen takes place at halftime of Friday’s boys’ varsity basketball game with Gaylord St. Mary.
“Each class painted the windows for our theme, historical eras. Spirit week is this week. Monday was color day, Tuesday was a (snow day), Wednesday Wild West, Thursday Hawaiian day, and Friday is red and white day,” said Amber Watson, student council advisor.
A pep assembly is planned for Friday at 2:30 p.m. and the Snowcoming dance is Saturday from 7-11 p.m.
