Donald F. Songerath, 97, of Caro, formerly of Little Brush Lake died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his home.

Surviving are two daughters, Loretta (Jim) Whittaker of Cass City and Lois Sholts of Florida; a son, Rick (Susan) Songerath of Auburn Hills; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren

There will be a graveside service and military honors at Rust Cemetery in Hillman in the spring. Arrangements are in care of the Chagnon Funeral Home.
