Judy Marie Paradise

Judy Marie Paradise, 76, of Rogers City passed away September 13, 2016 at Rogers City Tendercare. She was born October 9, 1939 in Rogers City to Glen and Nelda (Wenzel) Paradise.

Judy graduated from Rogers City High School in 1957. She was employed as the produce manager at the Rogers City IGA for many years. She loved all sports, especially softball. She was honored to have an award named after her for sportsmanship on and off the field. She earned many awards throughout her life including infielder of the year Class C, Hall of fame bowling and a record of 25 years as bowler of the year. Judy also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Judy is survived by two sisters, Jackie Poch and Jill Vieau; a brother, Jeff (Elaine) Paradise; and many nieces and nephews including, Jeff Poch, Jeremy (Melanie) Poch, JoNel (David) Lahie, Jennifer Habecker, JoLyn (Gary) Idalski and Jessica Paradise; great-nieces and nephews, Travis Poch, Lauren Lahie,
Sarah Lahie, Makarah Poch, Boden Poch, Aubrey Idalski and Justin Zampich; and an uncle, Glenn Wenzel.

Visitation was at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Saturday through the time of her memorial service with the Rev. Greg and Karen Zurakowski officiating. A luncheon followed at the Rogers City Area Senior Center.

Inurnment took place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Judy’s memory to Rogers City Booster Club, Westminster Presbyterian Church or Rogers City Little League.
