Beth K. Wright, 72, lifelong resident of Ocqueoc, died at home unexpectedly Thursday, July 28, 2016. The daughter of Herbert and Virginia (Paradise) Pomranke, Beth was born in Detroit May 7, 1944.

Surviving Beth is her son, Stuart (Brenda) Wright of Charlevoix; grandchildren, Cole and Abbey; sisters, Gail LaLonde and Dawn (Sam) Merchant, both of Ocqueoc; as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; and brother, Gary Pomranke.

Beth’s’ family received friends at the Chagnon Funeral Home Sunday, July 31, from noon until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jeffrey Bonn officiated. Beth’s final resting place will be at Ocqueoc Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy please consider a donation in memory of Beth to the American Heart Association.
