Quarterfinal comeback falls just short

This one will hurt for a while.
A heart-pounding comeback effort fell just short as the Inland Lakes Bulldogs held off a furious effort by Rogers City. Inland Lakes won the quarterfinal game 8-7 to move on to the state Division 4 final four.
It was a tale of two games at St. Francis field in Traverse City Tuesday. The first portion, a dominating performance by Bulldog ace Cloe Mallory and the second an all-out assault by the Hurons.
