Mark Thomas Andre

Mark Thomas Andre, 65, of Rogers City passed away at McLaren Northern Michigan June 12, 2016 surrounded by his family.

He was born April 13, 1951 in Detroit to Roy and Joyce (Hilliker) Andre.

Mark graduated from Corunna High School in 1970. Following his retirement from the railroad he worked as a lineman installing television cable throughout northern Michigan.

He enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time on his boat “Reachin The Limit”. Mark was also very handy and enjoyed building and doing carpentry work as well as gardening and spending time at his cottage at Lost Lake.

Mark will be missed by many friends and surviving relatives which are, his wife, Marcia Peltz-Andre; daughters, Regina Andre of Mt. Pleasant, Erin Herrington of Alpena, and Tanya (Bill) Abbott of Chicago; son, Jason (Pam) Casteel of Saginaw; step-son Steven Pauly of San Diego; two brothers, Paul (Marilyn) Andre of

Farmington and Jim (Val) Andre of Lansing; a sister, Sue (Rich) Baker of Owosso; half-brother, Robert (Chrissy) Andre and step-mother, Florence Andre, both of Morrice; in-laws, Mike and Barb Peltz of Rogers City; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Andre was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Joyce and a son, Cole.

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Wednesday from 3 p.m. through time of funeral at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mark’s family for a charity to be decided on later.
