John Walter Belusar

John Walter Belusar of Alpena, formerly of Rogers City, went to his eternal reward in heaven on May 16, 2016, surrounded by his family.

John was born December 9, 1952 to Joseph and Evangeline Belusar of Rogers City.

John is survived by two brothers, Joseph (Nancy) of Sterling Heights and Mark of Rogers City; and four sisters, Rose (Art) Bronikowski of Posen, Barbara Johnson of Brevard, North Carolina, Paula (Craig) MacNeill of Alpena and Valerie (Tim) Peacock of Rogers City.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Rob (Sue), Tracey, Tim (Jen) Belusar, Chris (Christine), David (Tiffany), Jason (Karin), Patrick Bronikowski, Hunter and Taylor Johnson, Jessica (DJ) Sz

ymoniak, Nichole (Jason) Proctor, Troy and Lily Belusar, Curtis, Daniel (Emily) and Pamela Merrill, and Matthew (Jessica), Christian and Erika Peacock; many great-nieces and great-nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be at Hentkowski Funeral Home, today (Thursday May 19) at 6 p.m., with the rosary recited at 6:45 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Metz, with the Rev.
