James “Jim” Arthur Lawes

James “Jim” Arthur Lawes, 65, of Rapid City, passed away May 11, 2016 at home surrounded by his wife and children. Jim was born March 11, 1951 in Portsmouth, Virginia.

He was the devoted husband of Connie (Felax), married since 1973; proud father of Jason (Amanda) Lawes and Carmen (Steve) Ingrao; and loving grandfather to Jacob, Zander, Oliver and Enzo.

He was the son of Irene (Balteau) Lawes; and the eldest bother to Janie (John) Stoner, R. Michael Lawes, Steven Lawes, Suzanne (Joseph) Bur, Brenda (Doug) Snapp, John Lawes and Timothy (Tonya) Lawes.

A Celebration of Life took place May 14 at the Kalkaska Funeral Home. Arrangements were entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
