Condensed Minutes
March 21, 2016
The regular meeting of the Board of Road Commissioners for Presque Isle County was held at the Road Commission office at 657 South Bradley, Rogers City, Michigan. Chairman Charles Rhode called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Board Members Present: Charles Rhode, Thomas Catalano, Ronald Bischer
Also Present: Supt./Mgr Smigelski, Clerk Wirgau. Visitors: Five
Minutes:
A motion was approved to accept minutes from March 7, 2016 meetings as presented.
Ayes: All.
Accounts Payable:
Motion by Bischer (Catalano) to approve the March 21, 2016 accounts payable in the amount of $128,451.38
Ayes: Rhode, Catalano, Bischer.
Supt./Mgr Report:
• Bonding an Allis Township Road during spring weight restrictions was discussed.
• A DEQ permit for an upcoming culvert replacement in Krakow Township has been approved.
• A grade inspection meeting was held for two County Road 451 projects scheduled to begin this summer.
• Supt./Mgr reported on conferences and meetings recently attended.
• Crews have been blading and placing stone and gravel where needed as frost leaves the roadways.
• The quarterly MTA Meeting will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Posen Community Center.

Property owners from Presque Isle Township appeared before the Board to discuss the status of a section of road
New Business:
A motion was approved to advertise for seasonal items.
The next meetings dates are April 4, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. and April 18, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.
There being no further business it was moved by Catalano (Bischer) to adjourn the meeting at 10:50 a.m.
