Harry “Blaine” Irwin Sr.

Harry “Blaine” Irwin Sr., 95, formerly of Onaway, Millersburg and Rogers City, died February 15, 2016 at the Pines of Clarkston. The son of Harry L. and Gladys (Spencer) Irwin, Blaine was born in Millersburg June 24, 1920 and graduated from Onaway High School in 1938.

Surviving Blaine are his two daughters, Marilyn Lee (Mike) Smith of Niangua, Missouri and Patti Jo “PJ” (John) Thorndycraft of Clarkston; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Blaine was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes in 1994; his son, Harry Irwin Jr.; brother, Clyde; and sister, Iva.

A graveside service and military honors will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday April 30. The Rev. Mike Smith will officiate.
