John Leo Bialas

John Leo Bialas, 90, of Alpena, formerly of Rogers City, Belleville, and Roseville, passed away March 13, 2016 at Tendercare Green View in Alpena.

He was born June 4, 1925 in Detroit to Joseph and Anna (Sledzinkska) Bialas. John is survived by daughter, Mary Anna (Steven) Thompson of Alpena; grandson, Gregory (Kim Miller) Ritchie of Alpena; dearest companion, Eugenia Lajdziak of Roseville; her children, Robert (Jill) Lajdziak, Dan (Donna) Lajdziak and Renee (Fred) Nienstedt; and family.

Friends may visit at St. Ignatius Catholic Church Friday, March 18, from 9 a.m. through time of Mass at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Sylvestre Obwaka officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Ignatius Catholic Church or School in memory of Mr. Bialas. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock.
