Frances “Fran” Marie Lenard, 81, passed away peacefully with family by her side March 12, 2016. Frances was born May 6, 1934 to Frank and Frances Durecki. Frances graduated from Rogers City

Frances is survived by her husband, Ray; and her children, Monica (Bill) Hoffman, Kathleen (Dean) Krey, Joe (Ann) Lenard, Rich (Linda) Lenard and Bernadette Lenard and husband Ken; nine grandchildren, Michael (Erin) Krey, A.J. Krey, Isaac Krey, Amanda Lenard, Nathan Lenard, Kayla Lenard, Samantha Lenard, John Lenard and Hannah Lenard; her siblings, Cecilia Bunner and Leo Durecki; and her father-in-law, John Leonard.

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Tuesday, March 15, with the rosary and parish wake service that evening. Visitation resumed at St. Ignatius Catholic Church Wednesday, March 16, through time of Mass with the Rev. Sylvestre Obwaka officiating.

Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Daughters of Isabella, the Rosary Society or St. Ignatius Catholic School.
