Glenda Kaye Turcott

Glenda Kaye Turcott, 80, of Onaway, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday, February 7, 2016.  She peacefully slipped away with her family at her bedside.

One of eight children, Glenda was the only daughter of Thomas and Ruby (Ellis) Preston and was born November 11, 1935 in Onaway.

Surviving Glenda is her daughter, Debra Kaye Turcott-Johnson and her husband Rory of Onaway and Grand Blanc; stepdaughters, Glenda (Steve) Probst of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Susie (Bud) Mullins of Waterford; grandson, Daniel (Kari) Turcott and sons, Gavin and Carson of Twin Lake; granddaughter, Heather Hagler, her fiancé, Tommy, and their adopted daughters, Dentaiva,

Cimiana and Benicia of Grand Rapids; “special” grandchildren, Cassius Turcott and his son, Jackson of Dickinson, North Dakota, Cody Turcott and his daughter, Sydalie, Annie Turcott and her children, Audrey, Brandyn and Kinslee  of Newberry, Courtney Turcott of Stanwood, Washington, Jackson Tyler Mullins of Waterford, and Bailey and Gina Broccardo of Novi.

She also leaves her brothers, Lessel Raymond (Susie) and Sidney (Nancy), both of Onaway and  Homer of Millersburg; sister-in-law, Grace Preston of Onaway; good friend and “sister”, Cindy Madden of Onaway; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Chagnon Funeral Home Friday, February 12, from 4 – 8 p.m. and will resume at the Chagnon Funeral Home Saturday, February 13, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m.  The Rev. Kamron Oberlin will officiate.
