Effie L. (McDonald) Cobb
Effie L. (McDonald) Cobb of Waterford passed away February 19, 2016, at 103 years of age.
She now joins her husband Bill, the love of her life, who passed away in 1959.
She is survived by a son Bruce (Sherry) Cobb and daughter Julie Zaremba. Effie had four grandchildren; Paula Cobb (Terri) of Boston, Michael Cobb of Portland, Maine, Kristin (Rod) Olmedo of Clarkston and Kara (Keith) Yater of Waterford. She had four great-grandchildren; Ben and Allie, and Annabelle and Tommy.
Effie was born in Wausaukee, Wisconsin to parents Hugh and Mable (Lee) McDonald April 17, 1912.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 26, at Christ Lutheran Church (5987 Williams Lake Rd., Waterford) with the Rev. John Negele officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
Family will receive friends today (Thursday) from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford, and at church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
