Bernard Frank Ciarkowski, 91, of Posen passed away January 24, 2016 at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 15, 1924 in Posen to Stanley and Bernice (Dombrowski) Ciarkowski.

Mr. Ciarkowski is survived by his wife, Florence; daughter, Janis (Bob) Peters of Grayling; three grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice (Walter) Kelly of Rogers City and Verna Kaszubowski of Posen.

Visitation was at St. Casimir Catholic Church Wednesday, January 27, from 10 a.m. through time of Mass at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Interment will take place at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Casimir Catholic Church in memory of Bernard Ciarkowski.
