Rosemary C. Stankewitz, 90, of Ocqueoc, died Thursday January 7, 2016 at home. The daughter of Henry and Loretta (Bammel) Blom, Rosemary was born in Detroit March 21, 1925.
Surviving Rosemary are her two daughters, Joanne (Alan) Mantel of Ocqueoc and Karen (Gary) Cox of Clawson; two sons, David (Kate) of Seattle, Washington and Paul (Diane) of Alma; daughter-in-law, Liz Stankewitz of Cheboygan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

d at the Chagnon Funeral Home Monday, January 11, with a rosary being said that evening. Rosemary’s funeral Mass was held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Onaway Tuesday with the Rev. Paul Megge officiating. Rosemary’s final resting place will be in Anchorville at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
