Posen Schools has achieved 100 percent immunization status.

Old Business

Moved and supported to approve the Deficit Elimination Plan as presented. As of now we will be out of its current deficit by June 2017. A few items that were discussed an elementary teacher is retiring so we will not be replacing and have another split in the elementary. We will watch enrollment numbers to see where the splits will be in elementary.   An unusually warm winter and low fuel prices should help us save more money along with a spending freeze. Also, eliminating a bus route the students maybe on the bus longer but so many older students drive to school.   We are looking at some changes that are not going to impact academics at Posen.

Motion passed by a roll call vote: Ayes: All. Nays: None.

Moved and supported to approve the Fundraising Policy as presented. Beginning January 2016 all fundraising activities must be pre-approved, as stated in the policy, by the Superintendent. All sponsors and organizations will get an updated policy!
