Joyce M. Zielinski

Surrounded by her loving family, Joyce M. Zielinski, 80, passed away peacefully at home September 24, 2015. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity and humility that touched the heart of everyone blessed to be in her life. Joyce truly made everyone feel special.

Born February 20, 1935 to the late Walter C. and Rose C. (Orban) Idalski in Rogers City.

Joyce is survived by Raymond, her husband of 59 years; six children, Ann Grulke of Alpena; Daniel Zielinski of Ypsilanti; Thomas (Karen) Zielinski of Naperville, Illinois; Mark (Mary) Zielinski of Coleman; Barbara (Andrew) Barger of Frankenmuth; and Paul (Sara) Zielinski of Grandville; 27 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ron (Kathleen) Idalski of Rogers City.

A devoted member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and its Rosary Society, Joyce was also active in the Rogers City High School Athletic Boosters and Rogers City Little League. More than anything, she dedicated her life to God and her family.

Visitaiton was at St. Ignatius Catholic Church Monday, September 28, through time of Mass with the Rev. Sylvestre Obwaka officiating.

In memory of Joyce, any donations may be made to St. Ignatius Catholic School, Rogers City High School Athletic Association or friend’s choice.
