Martha Pauline Ethel (Schlak) Hopp

Martha Pauline Ethel (Schlak) Hopp, 89, of Rogers City went to her home in heaven Friday, August 28, 2015, at Rogers City Tendercare.

Martha was born to Gustav and Martha (Cordes) Schlak in Royston July 12, 1926.

Mrs. Hopp is survived by her husband, Harold; children, Diane (the Rev.Thomas) Smuda, Eugene (Vita), Beverly (Dean) Knox and Kenneth (Nancy); grandchildren, Sarah (David) Liverseed, Aaron Smuda, Jesse Smuda, Mary Smuda, Daniel (Ashley) Hopp, Melissa Hopp, Emma Knox, Adam Knox and Kristy Hopp; and  great-grandchildren, Aleah Liverseed, Zachary Liverseed, Ruth Liverseed and Miles Hopp.

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Sunday, August 30, with a prayer service that evening. Visitation resumed at noon Monday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. The funeral service for Martha took place at the church with the Rev. Thomas E. Smuda officiating.
