John Stankewitz
John Stankewitz, 50, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at his home in Cheboygan. The Mass of Christian burial was held May 27 at St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church in Cheboygan.
John was born March 16, 1965 in Royal Oak. He was the son of Edward and Rosemary (Blom) Stankewitz.
John is survived by his wife, Liz; his children, Emily Stankewitz of Grand Rapids, Olivia Mollen, Jacob Stankewitz, Ethan Stankewitz, Onna Barney, Molly Stankewitz and Ella Pilon, all of Cheboygan; his mother, Rosemary Stankewitz of Ocqueoc Lake; his siblings, David (Kate) Stankewitz of Seattle, Washington, Karen (Gary) Cox of Clawson, Joanne (Al) Mantel of Ocqueoc Lake, Paul (Diane) Stankewitz of Alma; and many nieces and nephews, all whom he loved and cherished. Memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Baraga School in Cheboygan.
