Isabelle Gertrude “Izzy” Jaeger
Isabelle Gertrude “Izzy” Jaeger, 78, of Rogers City passed away at home September 13, 2015. She was born August 25, 1937 in Rogers City to Edward and Blanche (Steele) Gemmil. Izzy enjoyed spending time with her family playing music, cards, bowling and gardening.
Mrs. Jaeger is survived by five children, Daniel (Shannon) Flewelling of Norwich, Connecticut, Vickie (James) Schneider of Burton, Michael (Andrea) Flewelling of Presque Isle, Sharon (Dave) Flewelling of Naubinway and Charles Isaac Jr. of Mt. Morris; eight grandchildren, Jason (Joanne), Richard, Collin, Alex, Crystal, Kyle, Lauren and Kayla; and three sisters, Beatrice Reisener, Ruby (Marvin) Makowski and Bonnie Bruning, all of Rogers City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Blanche; three brothers, Bob, Bill and Eugene Gemmil; and four sisters, Jeanette Liechty, Viola Reisener, Dorothy Brege and Mildred Glentz.
Friends may visit at St. John Lutheran Church in Hagensville Friday from 10 a.m. through time of funeral at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Schultz officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church in Hagensville. Arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home.
