MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ROGERS CITY CITY COUNCIL

HELD IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON AUGUST 4, 2015

Mayor Sobeck called the meeting to order at 2 p.m.

PRESENT – Adair, Bielas, McLennan, Nowak, and Sobeck.

APPROVAL OF  MINUTES

Nowak/Bielas, that the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of July 21, 2015 be approved as written.

ROLL CALL: Ayes – All, the motion carried.

CITY CLERK’S REPORT:

CHECK AND INVOICE APPROVAL:

Adair/McLennan, that the following total fund expenditures be recognized as payments made and payments to be made, in the amount of $565,894.24 and the Mayor is authorized to sign the check register.

ROLL CALL: Ayes – All, the motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS:

STREET PROPOSALS

RESOLUTION NO. 2015-82

McLennan/Bielas, to approve the proposal from Everett Goodrich Trucking & Asphalt in the amount of $224,700 for the 2015 Rogers City Street Project along with the following FY2015/2016 budget amendments:  Decrease General Fund transfer out to Major Street Fund (101-966-999202) by $96,400, increase General Fund transfer out to Local Street Fund (101-966-999203) by $96,400, decrease Major Street Fund transfer in from General Fund (202-933-699100) by $96,400, decrease Major Street Fund street preservation contractual service expense (202-452-819000) by $96,400, increase Local Street Fund sundry revenue (203-000-671000) by $29,930, Increase Local Street Fund transfer in from General Fund (2

03-000-699100) by $96,400, increase Local Street Fund street preservation contractual service expense (203-452-819000) by $119,700.

KIWANIS REQUEST

RESOLUTION NO. 2015-83   

Bielas/Nowak, to approve the Kiwanis Club request to sell the Tall Tale Tattler from August 6 through August 8, 2015 at the Third/Erie St. intersection.

ROLL CALL:  Ayes – All, the motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT:
