Frankie J. Defina Sr., 88, passed away August 19, 2015.

He was born September 30, 1926 in Northville, son of the late Nicholas and Frances Defina.

He is survived by his children, Daniel (Jacqueline) Bishop, Kathy (Don) Foster, Patricia Gordon, Kristine (Lenn) White, Bonnie Rathburn, Theresa (Chris) Mertoian and Frankie Jr. (Terri) Defina. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Friday, August 21, with rosary that evening at Phillips Funeral Home, South Lyon. A funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, August 22, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Lyon. He was laid to rest in Rural Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans or Hospice of Michigan. www.phillipsfuneral.com.
