New fair queen to be crowned in Millersburg

Kristy Hopp, the daughter of Ken and Nancy Hopp will relinquish her title as County Fair Queen tonight at the fair grounds in Millersburg. The 2015 graduate of Onaway High School will pass on her title to one of six contestants which include Emily Robins, Elise Arkwood, Desi Smillie, Andrea Stalker, Gabrielle Miller and Amber Pilarski.

Contestants for junior queen are Lexus Horton, Madison Smith and Vivianna Austin. Emma Wickersham and Hannah Meharg are contestants for princess.  The pageant, which begins at 6 p.m. tonight (Thursday) is the first event of the Presque Isle County Fair that runs this weekend in Millersburg.
