Hentkowski sisters sweep Miss and Teen Miss Rogers City

Displaying dancing grace and poise, a pair of sisters won Miss Rogers City 2015 and the first Teen Miss Rogers City Friday. Heather Hentkowski, who will be  a senior at Rogers City High School in the fall and her younger sister Linnea, a freshman to be at RCHS, won the titles.

Heather won the coordination, talent and evening gown awards on the way to the title of Miss Rogers City. She tied for the photogenic award with first runner-up Brianna Kamyszek. Linnea won the coordination, photogenic and evening gown awards to win the first Miss Teen title. The sisters are the daughters of Matthew and Laura Hentkowski.

First runner-up for the Miss pageant was Brianna Kamyszek while Salena Heidemann was second runner-up. In the teem pageant, Mikaela Bannon was first runner-up and winner of the talent award. Alayna Sorget was the second runner-up and Catheryn Hart was third runner-up.

Missy Bannon directed the queen’s pageant and Nicole Bannasch directed the teen pageant. Both in their first year as directors, they designed an entertaining pageant featuring great entertainment while making it a positive experience for the contestants. Heather Pines did a great job as master of ceremonies maintaining the focus on the contestants while keeping the pace moving along.
