Continuing rainfall and poor playing conditions, along with the safety of the athletes were reasons for the cancellation of Saturday’s baseball and softball district games. Steady rain continued to fall late in the morning. The weather conditions are expected to be very favorable for playing and viewing of the games Monday starting at noon.
