Charles David Patton Bowen
Charles David Patton Bowen, 83, of Onaway, died Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Cheboygan Campus of McLaren Northern Michigan hospital. The son of Charles H. and Alma (Whitman) Bowen, Charlie was born in Onaway February 10, 1932 and lived most of his life in Tower.
Surviving Charlie are his grandchildren, Mike DeGiorgis of Montrose and Mary Ormsbee of Cheboygan; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Sachs of Tower; a son-in-law, Armond Parrott of Onaway; sisters-in-law, Helen Eagleson and Grace (Clayton) Campbell, both of Onaway and Carol Wiggins of Tower; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ in Onaway today (Thursday, May 14) from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Elder Faye Barrette will officiate. Charlie’s final resting place will be in Tower at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
