James Patrick Ludwig, 56, of Hawks passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

James was born in Alpena May 28, 2958 to Jack and Patsy (Harmon) Ludwig.

Surviving are his mother, Patsy; three sisters, Sheree and Arthur Woollard of Cheboygan, Jean and Frank King of Texas, Illa and Tim Talley of Tennessee; a brother, Jack Ludwig of Hawks; several nieces and nephews; and longtime special caregivers, Wayne and Carol Saile and their extended family.

Visitation and funeral service were at the Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena. Interment at Spratt Cemetery.
