Joan R. Cleaver
Joan R. Cleaver, 78, of Onaway, formerly of Yuma, Arizona, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at McLaren Northern Michigan hospital in Petoskey. The daughter of Steve and Elizabeth (Deemer) Colucci, Joan was born in Broadway, New Jersey July 5, 1936.
Surviving Joan are her four sons, Harry “Hunce” Jr. (Gail) Cleaver of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, Johnny (Rosa) Cleaver of Gainesville, Florida, Kelly (Linda) Cleaver of Levering and Jim (Jodie) Cleaver of Onaway; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Stephen and Michael Cleaver; grandson, James Cleaver Jr.; and her brother, Stephen Colucci.
Visitation will be held at the Chagnon Funeral Home in Onaway today (Friday), March 20, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. The Rev. James Brabson will officiate. Joan’s final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tower.
