Web site averages more than 1,000 visitors per day in January

Last month, the Web site PIAdvance.com, recorded 32,143 visitors. The visitors came from all 50 states in the union and many countries outside the borders of the USA.

As expected, Michigan viewers looked at the local news site more than other states, with 20,082 viewers. Canada was the next top country followed by the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Russia and Brazil.

In the USA states following Michigan in viewers at PIAdvance.com were Illinois, Florida, California, Georgia and Texas.

Presque Isle Newspapers also maintains a Facebook page and posts to Twitter, in addition to publishing its weekly publications.

The newspaper employs nine full and part time people with offices in Rogers City and Onaway, Michigan.
