Today is a busy one at the school with a pep rally at 2:40 p.m. in the high school gym.

Students and staff are encouraged to wear the school colors for the final day of spirit week activities. The theme has been the holidays. So, today is actually red and white (and blue jeans) day.

The boys’ basketball team is featured in the homecoming game this year as the Cards host the Pickford Panthers.

At halftime, the king and queen will be crowned.

The senior candidates are Shayna Mosier, Keegan Freel, Lexi Szymoniak and Ethan Arkwood; however, the king and queen can come from any of the four classes.

The windows have been judged and the class winner will be announced at halftim

e. There also will be a spirit award announced for the class that participated the most in spirit week activities.

The dance is Saturday in the cafetorium from 7 to 11 p.m.

Spirit week days were selected a few weeks ago by the student council. Ugly sweater day was Monday followed by masquerade day Tuesday.

Wednesday was St. Patrick Day and Thursday was Halloween costume day.

The rest of the homecoming courts are as follows:

Juniors: Jason Tribisondi, Preston Badgero, Sonja Gomez and Summer O’Meara.

Sophomores: Jonathan Bay, Troy Klein, Kristina Counterman and Noel Nash.

Freshmen: Sumer Harman, Chelsea Brewbaker, Cody Neelis and Lucas Tollini. (see page 3 for more homecoming court pictures)
