Margaret Mills
Margaret Mills (Huddleston), age 89, of Millersburg passed away at home on January 6, 2015 at 1:30 a.m. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Marge was born July 12, 1925 in Los Angeles, California to James and Lena Huddleston (Schlaadt). She had one sister.
Surviving are Marge’s daughters Diana (Ray) Kauth of Santa Rosa, California and Jeannie (Steve) Rittley of Millersburg; grandchildren Casey Shimel of Millersburg, Erin (Ricardo) Serrano of Millersburg, Amy (Tom) Piconke of Clinton Township, Robbie (Emily) McLennan of Millersburg, and Debbie (Howard) Freele, Victor (Chris) Caporale, Anthony Caporale, Steven Sonza and Heather Kauth, all of California; 13 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Diane Mills Smith of Wisconsin. Marge was preceded in death by her husband of more than 66 years, John David Mills; her two sons, John Albert Mills and Frank David Mills; and her sister, Vera Owen.
The funeral service for Marge will be held at Ocqueoc Baptist Church in Millersburg Saturday, January 10, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ken Marsh will officiate.
Visitation will be at Chagnon Funeral Home in Onaway Friday, January 9, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Marge’s final resting place will be in Millersburg at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of their son John or to the American Cancer Society.
