Donald Michael Wekwert, 66, of Posen passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

He was born in Posen April 27, 1948 to Stanley and Barbara (Brzozowski) Wekwert.

Don is survived by his wife, Carol; six children, Diane (Sonny) Tulgestke of Rogers City, Thomas (Cheryl) Wekwert of Alpena, Scott (Julie) Wekwert of Marion, Tracy (John) Loy of Harrison, Kimberly Wekwert of West Pueblo, Colorado, and Melissa Wekwert of Posen; 12 grandchildren; 5 siblings, Anna Hincka of Posen, Theresa Tadajewski of Alpena, Roy (Sally) Wekwert of Alpena, Shirley of Texas and Stanley (Nelda) Wekwert Jr. of Posen.

Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Friday with rosary/prayer service conducted by Sister Mary Hughes.

Visitation resumed at St. Casimir Catholic Church Saturday through time of Mass with the Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Wekwert family for a charity to be chosen later.
