Bernice Lucille Bruning

Bernice Lucille Bruning, 94, of Rogers City passed away December 26, 2014 at her daughter’s house in Washington Township.

She was born December 23, 1920 in Detroit to Edward and Emma (Vierk) Zampich.

Bernice is survived by four children, Eunice (Jim) Brainerd of Flint, Debra Mahowald of Washington Township, Steven Bruning of Rogers City and Faye Lamb of Rogers City; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin (Shirley) Zampich of Millersburg; two daughters–in-law, Rosie Bruning and Ida Mae Bruning, both of Rogers City; and a sister-in-law, Violet Wagner of Pontiac. Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Saturday until the time of the funeral at St. John Lutheran Church with the Rev. Eric Voigt officiating.
