Madeline J. Kortman

Madeline J. (Kuznicki) Kortman, 84, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her residence.

Born May 21, 1930 in Rogers City, she was the daughter of Joseph and Blanche (Nowicki) Kuznicki, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin H. Kortman, whom she married June 4, 1949 and who passed away December 8, 2009; and a brother, Jim Kuznicki.

Survivors include her two daughters, Debra Haviland and her husband Mike of Greensburg, Indiana and Paula Kortman and her companion Kerry Simon of Maple Lake, Minnesota; her two sons, Dennis Kortman and his wife Kay of Lexington and Daniel Kortman and his wife Ellen of San Clemente, California; three sisters, Joan, Janice and Donna; nine brothers Dick, Ed, Frances, Mike, Donnie, Jerry, Kenny, Benjamin and Dean; eight grandchildren, Matt Haviland, Tyree Nelson, Amber Bergdoll, Tarah Limerick, Nathan Limerick, Jordan Kortman, Lexi Kortman and Morgan Kortman; four great-grandchildren, Noah Nelson, Gabbie Haviland, Madeline Haviland and Lucinda Bergdoll; and several nieces and nephews.
