Raymond W. Ganske

Raymond W. Ganske, 88, of Sykesville, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at his home.

He was born February 20, 1926 in Ocqueoc, the son of the late William Ganske and the late Caroline Wemert Ganske.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Timmy R. and Laura Ganske of Smallwood; daughter and son-in-law, Judy R. and Larry Little of Westminster; and daughter-in-law, Lynn Ganske –Arnold and husband, George of Mt. Airy, Maryland. Brother of Erwin Ganske, Aram Ganske, Evelyn Wolgast, Elaine Orcutt, Carol Brownell all of Michigan; and the late brother, Alva Ganske; and late sister, Joyce Ganske.

Also survived by six grandchildren, Jody Hudson, Terri Little, Larry Little, Timmy Ganske Jr., Hollie Shelton and Jessica Ganske; and great-grandchildren, Bryan Hudson, Tyler Hudson, Jamie Wright (Eskins), Cori Kircher, Ty Little, Camden Ganske and Avery Ganske, Tara Shelton, Aurora Shelton, Felicity Shelton and Micha Shelton; and one great-great-grandchild Bryan Hudson Jr. He was predeceased by sons, Raymond W. Ganske Jr. and William R. Ganske.

Also survived by four stepchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) August 10 where funeral service was conducted Monday with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.

Interment was at in Grace Methodist Church Cemetery, Upperco, Maryland.
