More royalty crowned at PI County Fairgrounds

With Labor Day weekend quickly approaching the Presque Isle County Fair board is preparing for the fair. This week royalty to reign throughout the fair and represent the fair throughout the year was crowned. With Kristy Hopp earning the title of  Presque Isle County Fair Queen on Tuesday, Wednesday was the day for the junior miss and princess pageants.

Catheryn Hart, the daughter of Pat Hart and Kristie Hart of Rogers City, took the title of Junior Miss. Hart won the coordination award and the evening gown award. She performed a jazz dance for her talent.

First runner-up honors went to Viviana Austin who won the talent portion of the pageant with her sign language presentation. Second runner-up was Mikaela Bannon who won the ticket sales award. Bannon also performed a jazz dance for her talent presentation.

Gabrielle Miller won the title of Miss Congeniality and sang for her talent. Other contestants were Shelby Horton, Emily Grulke, Natalie Grulke and Sesliana Fenstermaker.

 

IN THE princess portion of the pageant Chloe Hentkowski danced and won the talent award. Kaydence Corey danced and won the judge’s choice award. Sierra Grulke sang and won the evening gown award.

 

Lexus Horton did a cheer dance and won the coordination award. Starr Peters-Paad sang and won the most outgoing award. Adisyn Fenstermaker sang and won the photogenic award. Haley Grulke sang and won the most confident award.

All these young ladies as well as Presque Isle County Fair Queen Kristy Hopp and her court will reign over the 2014 Presque Isle County Fair.
