Marilyn A. Ransom

Marilyn A. Ransom, 80, of Tower, died at home Wednesday August 13, 2014.  The daughter of Russell and Dorothy (Mitchell) Green, Marilyn was born in Port Huron May 21, 1934.

Surviving Marilyn is her daughter, Lori (Bud) Tucker of Tower; sons, Robert C. (Sandra) Ransom Jr. and Paul (Esther) Ransom, both of Tower, Russell (Lori) Ransom of Gwinn, and Fredric (Lu) Ransom of Las Vegas, Nevada; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; as well as two brothers, Robert (Judy) Green of Lewiston and Charles Green of Onaway.  Marilyn also leaves longtime friends, Ralph and Marge Erickson of Rogers City, Dick and Maxine Wilson of Indian River, and Bob and Bobbi Ann Gurnsey of Kimball.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday September 6, 2014 beginning at 6 p.m. at the home of Paul and Esther Ransom. Marilyn’s final resting place will be at Waverly Township Cemetery in Onaway.
